Overall a good bike but clutch lever sucks...

I booked the bike in august and got it on 4th Oct after a long wait. The bike so far has proven good for me. Have driven on mumbai road a good 3000 kms till now. The main problem I have faced is with the clutch lever. I have had 2 services till now but the very next day the clutch goes loose upto halfway i.e. from its default position upto the handle, till half way it is free and the clutch wire gets pulled in last few inches from the handle. When I told the service staiton guys about this, they said this is common in bajaj bikes.

On the very first day I found that the brake light was always on, so went to dealer the next day and they found that the front brake swith was broken. Got it replaced under warranty and since then no problems.

The back break is creating a screeching noise sometimes after about 2000 kms, so don’t know what problem it is but will have to take to the service station.

Secondly the back suspension is not good at all. When I have anyone sitting behind me on the bike and even on a small bump the suspension hits down like a thud.

Again, there is no engine kill button and a couple of times I have burned my fingers while trying to kill the engine.

The horn on the bike needs to be more loud to match this heavy piece of metal, as it is very mild as compared to the appearance of the bike.

The pick-up is not as good as karizma or unicorn but then it is a cruiser so can’t expect a fast pickup.

Average comes around 40-45 which is good for me, top speed have gone upto 110kmph with a pillion driver and it was easily achieved.

Within 2-3 days of getting the bike you get used to maneuver it in traffice so that is not a big deal. It is easy to handle.

I must say that it has a very powerful light so night driving is a pleasure with less traffic and a powerful light.

Very much confortable for the rider however for a pillion rider it is sometimes a pain in the rear back, i.e. not much comfortable for long drives for pillion rider.

Most of the times the bike is driven with my wife on the backseat as we both love biking and roaming around the town (Mumbai) on weekends, so all the above description are with riding the bike with 2 persons on it.

However at the end of the day I am satisfied with the bike, after all its HAMARA BAJAJ
