Comfort + Style + Cruiser Handling ;)

"Why listen to the sound of the humans

When you can Listen to the sounds

of the H.E.A.V.E.N! "(- From Bajaj Ad):)

*- Avenger 200 -

*Been just 15 days since I got hold of this beauty & must say I am lovin it. Added the windshield to it the very day I got the delivery.

Looks:

Guaranteed to get you staring looks;) on streets and highways alike.

Comfort:

Riding comfort for the driver is Excellent on Highways, only problem would be for heavy traffic conditions, esp. with pillion rider. Does take a toll on your wrists in heavy traffic.(I travel with it through IIT Powai everyday to office:P)Pillion seat might disappoint large framed people .

*Mileage:

*Haven’t tested it yet.

Handling:

Up-shifting gears is Very Smooth compared to down-shifting.

Still in run in period, so couldn’t go beyond 60kmph but overall acceleration is nice for a bike of this weight. Though you need to up-shift quickly as the engine revs up pretty quickly(since the bike is new I guess).

Cruising(for which this bike is meant:)) on highways is a lovely experience. The ride is Rock solid, vibrations are few.

Unlike other users I didn’t find any problems while riding on gravel(or even sand:P) on a few occasions. But that could be because of my weight:P

*Features - Finishing .:

*I would have loved a turning indicator which switches off automatically as during riding(with a helmet) it is cumbersome to look at the turn indicators specifically, esp. if your height is over 6 ft.

The finishing of areas in the chrome parts where they are welded together is bad. It has a silver paint look to it.

The position of the ignition system takes getting used to but its the locking mechanism(on right side of the handle) which gets on your nerves:).

The stock mirrors are not adequately adjustable if you have a height of 6ft(my case). No matter how much I tried I could not adjust them properly to get a proper view of the road behind. I need to duck down to see the rear view properly almost every time.

I think Bajaj needs a kick to include a KICK START as a dependable backup to the electric starter:P .

Or atleast they need to give a manual about push starting this monster LOLzzzz:) .

Thats all folks .

I would advise potential buyers to ahead and " Feel Like GOD! ":)
