Bajaj avenger

If there is one category of motorcycles which has been gaining immense popularity in India, it’s the cruiser segment. It may be fair enough to say that this is more apt for the higher and premium market but not for the lower commuter segment. But there is one bike which has been a budget motorcycle under the Rs. 1 lac price bracket.

Yes, we are talking about the Bajaj Avenger. Ever since Bajaj and Kawasaki joined together and created the Eliminator, it has been attracting a whole number of buyers to this segment of bikes. Once the merger split, Bajaj began calling it the Avenger and the sales continued on. Not that too many people were complaining, but with time, one has to introduce some change to keep a product fresh in the market. Bajaj got their research and development correct and came out with a smaller version of the already model and named it the Avenger 150 Street. Pricing it at a competitive Rs 75000, this is the cheapest cruiser bike today in the Indian market. So how well does it perform? We were invited to try it out and see if Bajaj has managed to create a good sibling to its elder model.

To us, the Avenger 150 Street is a masterstroke, a winning strategy.
