Updated : "Feel Like King"

*Buddies, It is time for Update of long trips done on this bike. I made trips to Nearby Places like, Nandi Hills(154 km overall, Second time), Iskcon Temple(4th time), Savana Durga(164 km overall), Hogenakal(348 kms overall), Anekal(88km), Mekedatu(180km), Devrayana Durga(223 km).

The bike is awesome and really dependable as far as rides are concerned. I am very excited after realizing the ease with which my avy climbed the hill road stretches faced during my trips.it is really a great bike for hill roads.*

*Max speed for me on these trips was 108 kmph .But on good roads I maintained speed in the range of 80-95 for hours. The engine response and smoothness is awesome. The gearing is also very smooth and power is well distributed across all gears.Finding neutral was easy for me as I have prior experience of such kind of gearing.

I also faced bad stretches as long as 30 kms, but the suspension worked very well, and at end of the day I was raring to go again. Faced an issue with horn of the bike lately, was resolved easily by pro biking people.Adjusted the High beam little bit to fall on roads more.Excellent headlights.

Mileage drops near to 42 on highway if you drive >70. After these seven months my odometer reads 6780 kms.*

Some 7 months back, When I decided to go for this aesthetically mean machine, I had kept Karizma as an option. But once I drove both these bikes(I test drove my friends’ bikes for more than 4 months before reaching this conclusion), the decision was made.

*"The choice was the bike which makes you feel like king if not god(Being a god fearing person)."

Engine:

*200 CC

17.5 HP

16.78 Nm Torque

Cruising speed:Rock steady even @>110 km/h

Revised gearing has made the engine stress-free – a trait much need in a cruiser. Accelerating from a dead stop all the way to top speed, the bike feels much peppier than before, at the same time being perfectly stable and sure-footed.Gear box is the one of the best available on Bajaj bikes. Oil cooler:The little radiator that cools engine oil which in turn cools the engine has done wonders to the DTSi power plant, helping it churn out 17.5 PS at around 8000rpm.

*Ride Quality:

*Superb Ride Comfort:5/5(WOW)

Great Pillion Comfort(Pillion rider says "kitna jyada space hain yaar"). The foot-peg-saddle-handlebar relationship is extremely comfortable even on long hauls and that seat just wants you to keep resting your backside on it . The adequately soft suspension doing wonders to the ride quality.I have covered distances of 150+kms without even a single hassle.

Mind you friends even in heavy traffic conditions the comfort factor(5/5) keeps you happier than other bike riders.More the waiting time more you smile. Because Only you feel like king with its high class ergonomics.

*Mileage:

40 for City and Highways it is 47+.

Appeal:

Superb style: 5/5(Ultimate cruiser)

It can boast of one of the best headlight quality in India.

Analog Speedometer and Fuel gauge give it a retro look and macho appeal.

*Maintenance:

*Maintenance cost will be pretty low, as this is one robust bike with good overall service support from Bajaj.I have 2 nearby probiking service centers. My experience has been pretty good till now and I have not changed anything in the stock bike.

*Long Drives:

*Do plan for Long rides frequently with your near ones, as they will just shower praises on you.

Last but not the least, Once you hit the highway with your Avenger. "You’ll forget everything but the experience"

*Overall:

In a nutshell good combo of style, looks, comfort, power, speed. That at a price of Rs 74000.Unstoppable.
