Well to start with I was looking forward to purchase a new bike in the budget of 1 lac rupees which in regard to looks, comfort and mileage shall not make me feel disappointed at any point of time as to for which bike I shall go for. So I browsed through almost every bike available in Indian market and the options I came across finally to select from were Bajaj Avenger 150 Street, Yamaha Fazer Version 2.0, and last but not the least Royal Enfield Bullet Standard 350cc(though a compromise on mileage part).
To select amongst these I came across thousands of reviews on internet as per which number of reviews made me disregard the option of Bullet standard 350cc view lack of service centres and high cost of maintenance. Then I was left with 2 options namely Avenger 150 Street and Fazer version 2.0, for which other than internet I surveyed the market trend which made me to conclude thinking that sports bikes are very common on the streets these days but cruisers and that too in 150cc segment can actually make people to turn their heads to look at this beast on the road. Also the riding posture is far more comfortable to drive cruisers as compared to sports bikes wherein one has to slightly bent forward to ride a bike.
And finally I chose Bajaj Avenger 150 Street over other bikes which has got looks, can provide you mileage and that too from bajaj making you feel more relaxed in context to maintenance costs.
Its been almost a month that I had purchased this bike and I had already driven good about 600 kms including one good long trip of 400 kms in one stretch. The bike is very reliable, very stylish to look at, and very very much comfortable to ride.
So, if anyone is looking forward to buy a good motorbike comprising of all good features be it looks, mileage, comfort, then I would suggest this is a power pack "Bajaj Avenger 150 Street" you can go for.
