Practical city cruiser bike from Bajaj

Hello everyone. Today I’ll be sharing my experience regarding Bajaj Avenger 150 Street bike which I purchased way back in January 2016.

To begin with is it’s all unleashed look and inspiring dark blue and black theme. This makes bike look really aggressive and good at looks.

Avenger new badging and all black alloy wheels looks really cool. Stickers used on this bike may not look that creative but still it gives this bike a well balanced look.

One thing which is missing in it’s styling is usage of chrome. I personally wants more chrome on it which will make this cruiser to look even more killer and attractive. Moving to it’s performance first thing which you’ll feel instantaneously is its ability to bring good amount of torque even at RPM as low as 3500. Which is very good looking at it’s cruiser name tag. It has a decent amount of power with 14.3 bhp gets churned out at 9000 RPM. Practically speaking this is decent enough for city traffic cruising but on highway or on mountainous terrain you’ll feel it’s not sufficient.

Coming to its handling front telescopic springs and rear slightly tweaked suspension will absorb most of the small potholes with ease but on a bumpy Road it feels quite unstable because of it’s lean back sitting posture. All in all my experience says that it’s one of a kind of cruiser in this segment and at this price range with an overall mileage of around 40 kmpl. I would recommend it to people looking for a perfect blend of style and practicality on a city cruiser bike. Thanks for reading. Take care.
