Caliber 115

I bought this bike in first week of June and have been riding it for about 2 months now. I think I’d rate this as a great bike but for some probs. I completetly agree with metalmaniac1759’s review.....though not that severe.

I had to learn how to start this machine.... It had some starting problem initially though the dealer told there was none....then one fine day when I had to go out the hodibaba would not start and had to sweat it out using the great MTC of chennai (the very thing I wanted to avoid and the reason for the bike). Called up the dealer’s and the mechanics to my place and rectified it. They told that there was some air lock...Whatz that?

It worked fine till the rains hit chennai. Bike went off while changing gears....and would not start in a kick....had to take it to the dealer who said that the idling was not proper.....Now thatz is fine though.

ANother problem that I get now is that once the bike starts(yeah now in one ( proper!)kick!)and I raise the throttle the engine gives the same feel as when the bike runs into reserve but after using choke or running a km its fine...have to check this out with the dealer.

After two months, two services and 2500+ kms on Caliber 115 my ratings would be...
