The teaser campaign during world cup last year and favorable reviews on web sites made me buy this bike.
After riding 17000 kms in last 1.5 yrs, this is how I feel:
Handling and breaking and all such stuff is good. I’m a slow rider, and pickup doesnt matter to me much, its adequate.
Mileage - I’ve never got more than 62 kms in any condition. average is about 57 kms.
My major complaint is about its shocks, it is shockingly bad...
I have to ride through some bad roads daily and this bike is proving to be a pain for my back. I have tried adjusting the adjustable shocks, to no affect; complaints during last 3 services did not have any impact.
Other complaints are with servicing - I have always got servicing done by authorised agencies, I had complained regarding a noise from exhaust pipe which has not been looked into in 2 services; I dont think they follow all the steps mentioned in the manual, have to specifically request them to do the repairs.
Bajaj promises free service, but a very shoddy job is done
