Buy only if u don't have any options.

Bajaj seems to have decided that prducts should have a minimum life span just like various microsoft products. by the time u become accustomed to using the product its spares and services are out of the market and it has been replaced by a new product.

Classic SL which advertises a ideal average of 70 kmpl gives hardly 25 kmpl on road. it has a pathetic shock absorber system. the bearings of the front wheel have to be replaced every 15-20 days while driving the bike on city roads (so don’t even think of buying it if u live in small towns or villages).

spare parts are not available even with the company service centres.

Why did I buy the bike ? a very good question, I am also wondering the same, probably I was mislead by the advt which shows a small baby sleeping in a cradle on the pillion of the bike or by the 70 kmpl promised by the company or probably by its sleek looks. but I would not advise anybody to buy bajaj bikes going by the experience I have faced riding the bike, or seeing the kind of pathetic service provided by their official service centres.

from the experience I have had with their scooters they should have stopped making new models with the advent of their chetak model which was and is still the most popular model among scooter riders.
