Great Endeavours with the Bajaj

Hi1

This is my first review and that I was excited to share my experience with everybody.

I was interested to buy a bike as an exchange with my yamaha-RX100 which was 10 years old and was giving an average of 35 kms.I tried Hero Honda splendor, CD Dawn and TVS Centra and then CT 100.

I have these experiences.

Hero Honda

  1. CD Dawn:The bike is good I suppose munjal’s must also take care of giving it some looks. Its looks more like a dibbawaala bike or a doodh wala types. Looks also matter.otherwise in the long run, it is a bitter fact that all bikes will be on the same platform and will require mainatenance. The same old look and nothing though they have still changes the headlights and stickers but come’on they are of splendour. Its the same as adding a boot to indica and buy indigo or add roof to it and buy tata-marino. if you want a difference then do it like maruti swift. no changing headlights only. add something to the body also.

  2. Splendour--super duper and what not. improve a little bit and increase the price and enjoy the brand name is what Hero Honda is doing now. anyway they need to worry of competition. If a person buys a bike just because of a good looking headlight then its fine

TVS Centra:

A good bike and good shockers. But too much of electronic parts (like dual electronic ignition, VTSi..etc engine is harm ful. u see there is no guarantee of electronics part. Do something mechanical in the bike or if breakdown occurs the only solution left will be service centre. Can’t say about performance but I see only TCS Victor on roads and no ’’fill it once a month’’.Still it needs to prove it credilbility.

Bajaj CT 100...

Nice bike. Infact I had been trying to buy a bike since february and I was watching the market and the trends. this bike’s sales has shot up. It is only we people in UP who are crazy after Hero Honda. Just visit south and say Bangalore and u’ll find the credibility of the Bajaj Bikes.

Still I preferred this over CD Dawn or Splendour

  1. The cost is value for money.

2.better average.

  1. After changing the look and feel of CD Dawn they have raised the price also so don’t know what the Hero Honda persons are upto..

4 still I have to monitor the performance but it seems that it will not dissapoint me.
