My immediate criteria while looking for a bike was mileage. I knew I would be going for a 100 cc and after evaluating all the options went for CT 100. I am proud to say that after 3 months now I have not yet got a chance to regret my decision.
The company claims that the mileage under test conditions exceeds 100 kmpl, but on road my bike gives me maximum upto 80 kmpl. I should also mention that I mostly traverse on the Pune-B’lore expressway to reach my office and I believe that inside the Pune city my mileage would drop to 70 kmpl.
However, more than mileage its the smooth and maintenance free running that I have gained which makes me more happy about my decision. If you are looking for stability and value for money then this is your bike. I have tried a number of times to exceed a speed of 80 kmph on the highway, but I guess you can only do certain thing with a 100 cc bike.
The looks are appealing, although my fiance complains a lot about the way the petrol tank has been designed. I have gone for the deluxe and golden colour version. I am tall and slightly heavily built so I feel that the seat should have been a little more broad for more comfort. I start feeling a little uncomfortable after riding for more than 40 kms on a stretch. My final word is that the bike is good for people who have a low budget but want a hassle free biking experience.
