Guyz,
All of the biking world has been raining praises for the discover... all the so called great techy features that it has got to offer.
But I recently test drove one from my friend and found it disappointing.
It looks like a baby pulsar ... which lacks character and statement...Also the build quality of the parts are not good and I’m sure they will show their true character after a year or so...I wish they could spend some more on improving the build quality of the parts instead of flashing the jackie Chan ad every minute on the TV!!
I found the pickup sluggish...nothing compared to the fiero or pulsar 150 or even my modified enticer!! n I dont feel the bike will be very stable at high speeds...the bike feels light n small...
I can’t comment on the mileage but its 55-60 acc to my frnd which is very gud in city conditions!
the most positive aspect of the discover is the superb pricing which matches the hero honda splendor...
I agree that the discover is probably a better choice than the splendor which is very anaemic in nature but I m very much sceptical about the long term reliablity and build quality of the discover!!
And I don’t think alloy wheels will look very gud on this bike!!
So, all in all, a disappointing package from bajaj and I think the sales will dive down after the initial euphoria is over!!
