I have been using Discoverer for a period of one week. I had exchanged my Hero Honda Ambition with my friend for a period of one week. In this time frame I have found the vehicle to have a great pickup and good mileage. The shape is not that attractive. The gear makes lot of sound during gear shifts. 1st and 2nd gear ride are not smooth. I feel that this vehicle is a by product of CT100 and Pulsar.
Bajaj should fix these two defects and make the shape a little more attractive. May be if the front light is changed to a more satisfactory shape should change the looks of the vehicle a lot.
Coming to my conclusion, this is an extremely good vehicle and if one can adjust with the gear box sounds and non smooth ride in the first 2 gears, then there is no vehicle that can beat Discoverer in it’s range
