I had got my Bike a couple of weeks back and it is doing good. It is a good bike with respect to mileage, comfort and looks. Let me explain more:
From the early days of November 2006, I was thinking to purchase a new bike within my range of 40-50K, not more than that and interms, I was expecting good mileage, comfort with alloy wheels, self start and some more in those words.
At that time, my options were TVS Star city, Bajaj discover, HOnda shine and a few. You dont believe it, from then I started researching on all those bikes for three months, ie uptill Jan 25th, that was the day when I purchased my Bajaj Discover 125cc.
I also had test rides of all the bikes. Every bike seemed to have the same comfort but for a few reasons, I had to take the Bajaj Discover. They are listed below:
I was not much impressed with a single test ride as every new bike does the same. I was through its technical specifications completely, researched on the bike by contacting some of my friends, well wishers. But the reply was not good. They said, it is not worth and good value for money taking the Discover bike and the 125cc costs around 54000/- which was out of my budjet.
I did not go with their words. Not just one, more than 25-30 fellows told the same. Only 2-3 responded good with it.
You can ask me now why I did not go with their words and still went for Discover. Here is my reason:
1.I always want the gear transition to be all front and also good cc in pickup. Then TVS Star City and Discover came into list.
2.Star city is little less in cc comparative to Discover and I am not that interested in Mileage.
- Above all, one should fall down to see its pickup. It is too good and its best in 125cc segment. One should like the bike for its great qualities.
One can write the review only if he has done riding the bike for more than 500kms. Not just the test ride do.
I would have lost a good bike if I went with some reviews in MouthShut or anything else that are not positive.
But from my review, you should be in a position to purchase this bike definitely, if you are expecting the same that I have expected from a bike
If you want me to rate this bike and recommend this, I will always recommend this and I will give 4.75 out of 5 out of exaggeration(5/5).
