Hi to all . actually I am writing a review for the first time . so pardon for any mistake . and ur valuable suggestion are always welcome .
I am a proud owner of this incredible machine . yes it’s right the bajaj discover dts-si 100 cc bike
I bought this bike in the December 2009. and so far completed over 13000 km my experience with this bike is full of up’s and down . . my dad recommended me the Hero Honda splendor but I didn’t like that bike to much because of it looks . but people says .it is a good and reliable bike for city condition . lets come straight to the points and do the review .
==positives of my bike ==
- - very very fuel efficient ( I have driven this bike in almost every possible condition and u can expect an average of 65 - 75 without doing to much) on highways I have got a mind bobbling average of 112 kmpl when I was on road trip . from delhi to agara last year. but I have done a loot to get that magical fig.
2.- good looks
3.- smile headlights ( nice and clear view of the rood in dark because of the headlight)
4.- 5 gears( *the only bike in 100 cc segment with 5 gears to the best of my knowledge )
==negatives of the bike ==
1.- not stable on high speed (the moment u cross 65 u can feel the vibration under the knees and ofter 70 u drive it on ur own risk even though tis is capable of reaching 95-97 but ill not recommend u for the same)
2.- the auto chock( some times the auto chock started working when not needed like u can the feel the engine running at a higher speed and the bike is in neutral position and u are standing at the red light doing nothing)
3.-gear shift problem(like all bajaj bike this bike has also the same problem with the gear shift if u are a bajaj fan then u can bear this pain )
all and all . ill say this is a good option for those who who want a good value for money bike . and have no intention of selling it . coz bajaj do not offer a good re-sale value . it’s fuel efficient bike so do not expect great pick up . but for a small heart like this decent pick up . and performance
