I am one of the purchasers of this (125 cc) bike within the first few months of its launch. Its brochure really impressed me on its features and benefits, but the bike has let me down on the fuel economy front. It has never given me more than 49 KMPL in 3 years after I purchased it.
Otherwise this bike is very good in comfort, reliability and looks, but again a little less on control as the vehicle skids when breaks applied at speed of 50+ KMPH. It gives a good riding comfort and reliability and doesn’t vibrate even when ridden at high speeds of 100+ KMPH. If you are a person who drives with skill and tact you can even run the pulsars, CBZs and apachees close. Easy handling in city traffic conditions (Bangalore) but shocks should have been a little more sturdy for Indian road conditions.
I would be more than happy if the company helps me with the fuel economy. The staff in the Showroom cum service centre at VST Bajaj rajajinagar, Bangalore are not customer friendly and give a biased service, 4-5 attempts to get the problem rectified has been futile.
