A rare ''discovery''

This is the first time I even felt like writing a review on any product...

Review is from the point of view that ’’I bought this bike about 1 1/2 months back, got it serviced once, and done 1200 km so far... and is a high end with disc brakes, alloy wheels, and electric start...’’

Well, to be frank, I was looking a the variety of options available to me while buying 2 wheelers, I first opted for Fazer owing to its looks and pickup... and felt no bike would surpass it! But, test riding,

and ? Bajaj Discover? changed my entire opinion. Let me put it point by point:

Looks: Simple, Plain, but a real treat to look at... Mine has alloy wheels that add to its beauty (worth the few thousand rupees extra for this)

Pick up: The engine just pumps in adrenaline (compared to other 125cc bikes)

Speed: I can call this a ’’silent killer’’... Even if u put it on to 90kmph level, the engine is super quiet, you can hardly feel the vibration or the sound... its a breeze to maneuver this beast even at that speed..., and to add to it is the suspension that glides over all potholes ensuring smooth and stable ride with no jerks (required especially when on Indian roads at high speeds).

Its tough to get girls to notice you on top speed ’cos they can hardly hear the noise as you glide byAnd now, after 1st service, reaching 90 is a mere child’s play, and 70 is something that you tend to see as ’’normal’’ speed. This is where I felt something missing -- the 5th gear!

Light: Pretty comfortable with wide light for low and normal speeds, and a pointed beam for high speeds... City lights aid for city driving on well light road so you don?t bother the guys coming opposite to you...

Suspension: In short, you can just ignore pot holes... :-)

Mileage: Even before 1st service, in spite of me reaching 70 on a regular basis, it gives me about 55-60kmpl (for a rough rider like me who managed to get his RX135 a measly 22kmpl, this sure is pretty much!).

Brakes: Pretty comfortable and stable, tough it takes a few days to get accustomed to disk brakes. I sometimes wish they had disk for back brakes too...
