I have joined Bajaj’s family since the days Bajaj Auto has launched DISCOVER 125. So being one in first 100/500 customers I should take liberty to reveal some of my experience on you all, with company and Bajaj’s dealer.
I have Discover DTSI since Sep 04. Before that I have HH Splendor.
I have noticed that engine is making sound and sometime gears get stuck and hard (on trafffic signals when you are in hurry to move this would be the situation on every two signals ) when tried to release them also sometime bikes get
false neutral in third to second gear transmission, just after purchase when taking bike to my home.
When I thoroughly went through the situation I find that sound is coming from the head of the engine. Day after one I went to Dealer again and show him the problem but they said that the sound is of making. And this will corrected after first service. Then after two-three again I visit to dealer (Rajiv Bajaj 100 ft road Shahadara) for first service.
Again I showed him the problem of sound and gears, there engineer look into the issue and said that the sound is due to tapids and gear problem will be corrected after right kind of adjustments in clutch in the service.
Even after service and hundreds of argument they are unable to sort out the problem. Finally I contact at the Bajaj’s Regional office at Okhla Delhi and mail them the whole situation.
I appreciate Bajaj’s officers (specially Mr Rajiv at Delhi regional office) for their sincerity in attending problem and listening to customers.
They direct on email to the dealer to immediately rectify the problem. I receive call of Dealer’s engineer next day to show them the problem.
I finally went to the dealer the nest day and met the showroom owner. He takes test ride. After long discussion with him he finally admit that there might be some problem in engine and gearing system and he will definitely take this issue to Bajaj Automobiles Pune (whether he forward this issue to Bajaj Auto or not I don’t know).
So finally conclusion is that the engine and gearing system both has problem and need immediate improvements and correction. If any of you have any question feel free to contact me.
