First thing I like to say about this vehicle is worth for money, because everyone knows that petrol prices shooting up day by day. For instance as a bike lover to choose comfort, fuel efficient , maintenance and at the same time, we must know the brand which we are going to choose. For bajaj, its truly Indian and no other company to match with it...except TVS with same dual tech. I have finished 4 free services, from day one onward when I bought bike on 15th Dec 2009 ...at 7 pm, not to mention...i didn’t ride my bike instead I take my by bike through walk upto 5 km...bull thing lot of starting probs...the dealer ask me to use choke..!!! I didn’t understand why I have to use choke? a brand new vehicle taken delivery at night within a minute..how it happen? I suspect there is some problem?! again again I have starting problem ... carburetor problem through recent check when I lodged my compliant with bajaj. my vehicle mileage crossed 9000 kms and I normally used to drive 60 kms per day up and down to my office and home .....the mileage is excellent...
I am getting 80-82 km at the speed around 80 to 90 or even 100 sometimes. One problem is when I ride at 50 to 60 I get struck or engine get very noisy or chains give lot of noisy , as wll as it is uneasy to ride in 50-60 for compare to honda or hero honda they are excellent but, for brand. The service is good and very helpful. For petrol, regularly, I use only one petrol bunk for to fill - HPCL or BPCL, dont put in IOC very worst ..engine will get prob... adulterated petrol all bunks in chennai as well as shell too joined the race.!!!
Note: ..See , honda is coming out of hero motors in 2011 or 2010, then there is no value for hero motors...splendor or passion, then it will like hero cycles..so, don’t waste money on hero or honda..sometimes there will be some strike in honda motors too...recently it had !! then spare problem or service problem...go for our indian bike Bajaj..reliable but have to change model...see discover is very old model compare other new entrants ...bajaj should think....IIIII One more point, why discover 100cc doesn’t have digital speedometer? will they introduce in furture? or what will happen...even honda twister gives around 75 kms... honda unicorn gives 55 as my friend bought recently ...but cost is dearer 70+ at waste for spending too much for this vehicle we can buy a car if we put additional money..Overall I would like to say....Bajaj Discover DTSi 100cc is worth for money....fuel efficient, except model or quality. The contents which I have mentioned above ...please excuse... for past 9 months I am suffering with starting problem...other than that no issue....any one please advice what to do?
