Basic exception from any bike is 1. ache free riding (bike has real shock absorbers where your bi-cycle with motor on may not give you this ex: splendor). 2. handling and road grip (as reading spec one can understand that it is same proven dimension of discover). 3. looks. 4. last but not least the average reading the spec I am sure it should give 70 to 75 kmpl.
I dont know why I am fond of 5 speed. reason I guess is 1. why unnecessarily waste the torque after you accelerate from 4th gear. 2. it helps the engine rev to come down and keeps it cool. 3. less noise. I am using pulsar for 4 years now I manage to ride 5th gear even in city conditions. use the power of the engine which is tuned to low torque.
Can’t bajaj refine the engine? I guess the reason may be they want lure the market as and when "discover" new concept with out even testing it properly. I guess R&D section concentrates primarily on the market expectation; soon they release the bike to lure the market and many times they end up in re-calling the bike. I am sure the new Discover is not going to be the one because 1. it is 100cc. 2. it is not new platform where it is proven Discover platform.I am sure I am going to book one for me. ya true after test ride only. I will update you guys with my test ride report soon.
