100T Delivers What it Promises

Hi,

I bought a Discover 100T on Aug 20th after having a lot of thoughts about replacing my old Discover 110 cc KS. I wanted a bike with a very good outlook and a great mileage and I got what I wanted.

Till now, I have covered 410 kms on my new bike and it has not come out of its main capacity.

The bike is a boon for those who are looking for a great mileage. I have taken the bike from Pondicherry to Chennai once and using in in chennai daily for commuting to my office.

As most of the users said, the bike has a starting problem in the morning. What most people failed to understand was the solution given by Bajaj in the user manual.

Before starting the bike, lower the Kicker with the clutch applied for 4 to 5 times. Then release the clutch and start. The bike will start immly.

The fuel tank capacity is 10 ltrs with almost 5.1 ltrs in reserve(3.5 usable and 1.6 non usable).

I have got a mileage of more than 80 till now before first service. Hope it improves after the service.

The only problem is the constant noise ucoming from the engine which is normal for a bajaj product.

Overall I am very satisfied with the bike and found a way to curb my fuel expense :)

Note : I have never ridden my bike above 50kmph till now.

Update : I have given my bike for first free service on 05th Sep 2013 and it is done. The bike still is running on its main capacity and yet to get in to reserve mode. It has crossed over 516 kms till now.

I am really wondering about the mileage my bike returns.
