Bought this beauty on November 9th 2012, looks like a 150cc bike and riding experience is as equal as pulsar 135, as the technology is same, the bike is pretty smooth and no vibrations even at 70kmph, Ive finished 850kms on it and its giving mileage around 62, before first servicing, and what I feel is people stop spending more money for useless plain bikes like glamor and shine which makes a sense of UNCLES BIKE. Plus points are Style, Handling, engine performance, mileage(COMPARING AT ITS CLASS), pillion seat.
Cons are hard seat, absence of digital speedometer(this may be in order to keep a fine difference between pulsar 135 and discover 125ST)
My final words are, people who wanna go for 125segment can go for this and you wont regret. After five months its 5000 kms old. And found the standard mileage of the bike as 56 kmpl. Coming to the riding experience. Went for a very long 170 kms ride at average speed of 70kmph tested the maximum speed taking the long journey as advantage.
Clocked 100kmph for a while and believe me still found throttle to accelerate but I was panic of the speed...and no vibrations like shine, glamour, stunner(dont know about ignitor) at 80+ kmph. Negative points found are front disc break, hard seat, rear thin tyre(cannot change as confirmed from engineers) Positive points are mileage, ride quality, pick up.
