Hello friends My bike is 45 days old and has done 1050 on my odo and completed my first service .I am facing low fuel efficiency I have tested mileage 2 to 3 times 1st was 58 next 54 and it drastically fall down to 44 KMPL.
Actually fuel economy depends on riding quality and conditions may be it is a minor problem as of now but my main issue is my bike engine is jst stopping as if the petrol is empty or as if it comes to reserve but it is not the case and after a few kicks ie after 1-2 minutes it is gets started again.
I am thinking that I have this problem because of the petrol quality I have used or there may be any underling problem which may be causing this.It usually stops 2-3 times a week and when I got the fuel economy of 44KMPL it has halted like this for 4 times in 2 days and engine also getting heated up very quickly....any suggestions friends. :-)
You can go ahead for this bike if you are ok with some of the issues which are minor I my view the issues are:- 1)Rear tyre problem: rear tyre is thin and it is cheap kinda China made tyres. It makes u feel like the bike is unstable if you cross 55KMPH (need to change the tyres to MRF, CEAT tyres) 2)Fuel efficiency: It is fine I used to get around 55(i.e 53(city), 54(city), 58(Highway), 45(city)) didnt got 60KMPL even for 1 time.I think 45KMPL is not because of bike it is due to the fuel I have used.
Need to change the fuel pump and see weather fuel is causing the problem or not. 3)Gear shifting problem: If you are on the higher get if u suddenly halted or applied brakes it is hard to shift to the lower gear the gear will stuck in that gear only it got better after my first service.After continuous travel of 20-30KM it a bit hard to change the gears.
Vibration problem is not there up to 60KMPH with proper shifting of gears beyond that it starts vibrating this vibration may go away after few services or after 3K on my odo...... Pickup is nice with pillion better than other 125CC bikes...
