Got this bike 10 days back. I really it except for the cheap China Kenda tyres. I changed it to Ceat which costed me additional 3400. Now it see that the grip has improved a lot. The bike is really good when it comes to comfort of riding, and handling. I could go in 4th gear @ speed 20KMPh, and in 5th while @ 25Kmph. I hvnt measured the mileage, but I am quite sure that I will get more than 60, still waiting for the reserve. The straight line stability is too good, may be due to mono shocks.
I see bit of vibration in the handle bars which makes hands numb after 45mts of travel, and I expect it to be solved after 1st service. The seat is quite broad, and would sure help in long drives. Coming to the looks, I am damn sure none would say "I dont like it". My wife and kids instantly liked the bike in full blue. I was oscillating between Twister and 125St, but finally went for this coz my 8 year old son strongly favored this bike.
Coming to the cons, as I said before the cheap Kenda tyres and the primary disappointing point. Then comes the rim size. Tho I wanted to upgrade to pulsar tyres, I could not as the rims width is too less to accommodate higher sized tyres. Bad part is that it cant even accommodate tubeless tyres.
Pros: Looks, Mono, broad seats, refined engine (I wont say super refined as Honda guys would kick me), cheap and widely available bajaj spares, and the showroom peoples approach.
I took delevery of the bike from Amba bajaj @ Outer ring rd, Bangalore, and the in-charge is quite friendly, and gave me 3 test drives before I booked the bike. I dont see this type of response from Honda or Hero guys.
I would definitly recommend this bike to anyone who is looking for a graceful commuter bike who would drive long distances also frequently.
