With Great Hope on Discovery series, I had purchased Bajaj Discovery 150cc bike in the month of October 2010 completed 2000 km ride with the bike, I would like to narrate my experience with this bike.
1) Bike is highly unstable during cuts, rainy days etc.,
2) Discovery 150cc is totally screwed up by the great Bajaj Engineers by giving lousy gear ratios because of which you feel like riding a bullock cart on the road with roaring engine noise. Since first day I never enjoyed the smoothness of the engine or feel of New Motorcycle. Such a lousy, unworthy, useless, rubbish(I dont have more words to say) bike ever came across.
Purely WASTAGE OF MONEY and PEACE OF MIND.
3) The engine is very bad requires 20w50 oil(hardly you will get most of the oil dealers) or castrol power1.
The braking function of the bike is also very bad and many accidents I have seen with Discovery group of bikes with front diskbrakes (no option of with out front disk brake).
The metal used is very cheap and already joints decorating themselves with lot of rust.
Only for name sake it is 150cc.The pickup is very poor and I have seen many discovery 150cc with Auto-choke hardware problems , which gives rise to Jerking movement of the bike.Baja claims it proudly the bike is fitted with auto choke. Its real nuisance to riders.
The seat is very hard , during long drives I feel like getting down the bike because of my bottoms up.
After taking the delivery of the bike I have to service the front speedometer cable Greasing and Back whell alignment, because the bike was producing squeking sound in the back and no free front whell movement.
Even the Lighting of the bike 35/35w is not sufficient and you have put 60/55w for visibility during long night drives
Over all Bajaj discovery 150CC is the LOUSIEST BIKE I have ever ridden and my suggestion to all of you is dont waste money on this metal Garbage.
Being a bike enthusiastic , honestly I am sharing what ever I observed , all the opinions expressed purely belongs to me and I do not want to hurt anybody , who is enjoying these bikes.
VINDISEL.
