Purchased this bike in August and have done 7000 KMs on this one. Believe me, It has been a Superb Journey.
Initially I was planning to buy a unicorn and also waited for 5 months but I didnt get a positive response from the Showroom.
After geting frustrated I decided to go for a pulsar with a loan. But was surprised to find this bike at the cost of 53000.
I took a risk and was well rewarded.
I will not go into the technical details as you will find it anywhere on internet.I will write more about my experiences with this.
At first, during run inperiod of 1000 Kms. It was rough and mileage was around 45-55 KM/l.
See the statistics, it is good at mileage than so called premium bikes yamaha and honda.
After 1st service, the engine became smooth and the mileage was 58km/l.
Other features like nitrox suspension, disc brake are good
Try to get MRF zappers instead of Eurogrips while taking delivery.
After 2nd service, Mileage has increased and vibrations have gone. I can drive the vehicle freely even at 70 KM/l
So till now all is well.
Engine has not given any trouble to me and the low end torque is amazing.
On the whole, this bike is not a competition to Unicorn, yamaha etc as it is a fine blend of power and economy. it is for people who want an affordable 150cc commuter
Personally, I have seen that people have a hatred towards bajaj but after trying out this one, their opinions will be totally changed.
Honda owners/seekers have the tendency that they will purchase any junk which has a honda tag to it
for example, If honda fits the engine of Hero panther moped in a motorcycle and sells it with the name of HONDA BABYCORN. they will happily use it.
In the end, who cares? If the bike is good, use it. Who cares is it a bajaj, honda etc
