I purchased a Cannon Digital Camera’IXUS 850 IS’ on 06 Oct for an amount of 19500/- using my ICICI Credit card(Gold). but my credit card statement shows two transactions for an amount of 19500/- - 1) one transaction on’century textiles’ dt.06-Oct-07, and 2) another transaction on on Bajaj Electronics dt.08-Oct-07
After six months of struggle with ICICI bank, they are asking me to pay for both the transactions. Actually I had only one transaction for an amount of 19500/- and I had to pay 39000/-(19500+19500). bank took more than 180 days to come to conclusion and as such it should take only 60 days after the complaint. above all bank told me that one transaction resolved in my favor and another transaction resolved in banks favor but they never gave credit for the transaction which was resolved in my favor. reasons were not disclosed to me.
I do not know who is cheating me - may be bank, bajaj electronics or century textiles. fact is I only made ONE transaction for Rs. 19500/- @ Bajaj Electronics.
Beware of the above in case you are swiping your debit / credit card at’Bajaj Electronics’
