I wanted to gift something useful to mom this year on Diwali and finally I zeroed in on a "Food Processor" . After scanning through several options available in the market ( Inalsa, Kenstar , National Panasonic etc ) I was informed about the latest range from Bajaj ...
Now Bajaj Electricals have always been know for their bulbs , tubelights , ceiling fans etc etc ..But a food processor ? ...I was apprehensive .. The dealer was extremely helpful and arranged for a live demo at my place the very next day .... The gentleman who came for the presentation , was from Bajaj Electricals and had brought his own stuff ( vegetables , flour etc ) for the presentation ....
WOW !! man we were impressed with what was displayed ...( The flour kneading part was the best )
I have used food processors at work ( during my Taj days ) and they used to be those elegant imported ones with fancy attachments ( most of which are seldom used in Indian kitchens ) ...and here we had something which was the right mix of style , power and practicality . The overall finish of the product is good and so is the quality of steel used for blades . The whole machine gives a feeling of durability with it’s unbreakable polycarbonate jars and good quality plastic attachments and outer casing . The attachments provided are just what we need for everyday cooking ..
What I was still concerned about was the reliability of the electric motor and my mind was put at ease once I was informed that we had a 5 year guarantee on the motor ( Guarantee NOT Warrantee - It will be changed not repaired if any problems arise within 5 years )
That was it , our decision was made and it has been a little over 2 months, since we have been using the Food Factory on a daily basis ( for something or the other ) and have not repented our decision at all .
And Boy I still love the way it kneads flour ....
