After using this cooler just three times, the motor burnt out. Bajas technician identified the cause to be a broken water pipe inside which caused water to drip on motor. It used to spurt out a lot of water even when it was working, and now I know why. Still chasing Bajajs support folks to replace it.
For something in which the motor is the only piece of engineering, getting it replaced under warranty is not easy, even for a consumer goods giant like Bajaj. Sometimes they dont have a replacement motor in warehouse, sometimes they get a "mismatched" motor and the correct replacement again gets delayed, sometimes they just dont bother or completely forget about it.
If they can, they just ignore the phone calls. On the plus side, the cooler is easy to open and clean. Uses cheap plastic everywhere, but its preferable to metal for something which houses electricity and water in the same box.
