Pathetic Product and Irresponsible Service

I am writing this review from my pathetic experience of purchasing this defective manufacturing OTG in January 2016 from a Bajaj dealer in Hyderabad.


Initially, we were all excited on our decision to purchase OTG and had no second thoughts about Bajaj as it being a leading brand in the Indian market. Unfortunately, our excitement was cut short.


From the day we brought this 45 liters box, it had problems. The trays provided with the product wouldn’t fit in properly into its respective section and in midst of baking the entire tray would fall crashing.


We immediately initiated a call with the service center for checking the product and these bunch of so called service team took their own sweet time to address the issue(Almost 2 weeks). On arriving, the service personal who had literally no understanding simply said it was OK. But, we knew it was not right, we again got in touch with the customer care and asked for a visit to check the product. It took another 15 days. The service personal came with another set of trays and tried to replace but the result was same.


We then for the third time called the customer service and asked for a responsible personal from the Company. He arrived after a week and had a look at the product and for a change identified that the partition on the right corner in the compartment was bent and he opened it and pushed it to straighten. After this exercise, the tray wouldn’t fit properly either. I asked him to connect to his manager for a replacement as the product had a defect. To my surprise the manager was another joker who said it was repaired, had no issues and it couldn’t be replaced and straight away asked us to use the same product.


Now, my question to Bajaj team is as follows:


Why are your selling defective products in the market?


Why have you hired bunch of illiterates who don’t know their job and how to handle issues and customer problems?


Why should we suffer for your manufacturing defects?


Who will pay or care for us?


Henceforth, I have decided I will never ever buy a Bajaj product in my lifetime nor recommend. Bajaj you have lost 1 brand loyal customer and many more like me in this country. You have broken our trust and confidence and will always regret my decision.
