Well my father gave me this bike as surprise on 24 feb 2009 its look good as as its my first bike I also happy but my happiness was not forever with it.
I just fill up its tank and enjoy the everyday works .but just after 1 st service when I fuel up little I seems something wrong with mileage and when I check on resrve 2 reserve mileage was around 40kmpl I check it out to service station or dealer(ssc) sandeep bajaj bhilwara.rajasthan at that time service incharge also does’nt try to understand that it is giving low mileage and says as its new and engine needs to be smooth after few thousand it will start giving normal mileage .on 2 service I force him to checkout the mileage they doesnt believe it still giving 40kmpl .but when I force to check they also found the same mileage as prior I install fuel tap lock that I also not believe that it is giving so low mileage and may be someone steal the petrol from parked bike .
So at that time ssc incharge manage to adjust the mileage to near 55-60 kmpl and says it will ok in future when engine will be further smooth now after 3, 4 and paid service it still giving dwindling mileage .although whenever I complaint to bajaj csc on website they quickly reply but its mileage was even dwindling now sometime it gave 80kmpl in city sometime after service from authorized service station in jaipur it gave 55 kmpl.
Well the pros side of this bike was mileage but many customers like me couldnt get that product as when I am at service station one humble man that just buy new platina shouting on service incharge return my old bajaj ct 100 that was exchaned by him for platina that was giving him more mileage than this new platina . Well that poor man also have bad experience in platina mileage .well when I checked with other platina owner about this almost 60-70% doesnt face this mileage problem but bajaj quality is not same for all product equally comes out from it production line .well bikes run well but engine heated after over some distance but not so much as I just took it 275 km start to stop from bhilwara to jaipur and jaipur to bhilwara even in may and june with 4 to 5 stops in journey
Pickup is average but smoothness and pickup compare to honda products like shine was not so much
