Well I’ve seen people here saying that this cooler started giving them problems after two years. HECK my friend had this piece of junk and it didn’t last him a GODDAMN year.
Of course it looks nice and trendy, it has built in castors ( wheels) making it easy to move, it’s compact and light and does sufficient cooling for an air cooler INITIALLY. But the cooling effect kept decreasing with time coz of d decrease in its fan’s speed until one fine day the fan completely stopped working and came to a standstill. It took d technician 4 days to visit his place ( which he discovered later was a short 10 min drive from d service centre) and another 2 weeks to replace d fan’s motor which d technician said had broken down ( technician’s words- motor jal gyi h) in just 11 FREAKIN months. And of course all hail d slow service.
And dat’s not the end. The new motor too stopped working in a month and dis time dey took almost a month to get a new one ( get it to their office not his place) . After that the technician kept making excuses and didn’t come to his flat to replace it. When he did come he came during office hours and insisted on coming at dat time only again ( his words- abhi ghr pe koi nai milega kya? ) WHAAATT ! Bachelors living alone don’t have a right to own Bajaj products? My frnd finally decided to chuck d plan of getting it repaired ( for which he was supposed to pay since warranty period had expired; ironically the motor was only a month old) and bought a new AC ( which of course was not of Bajaj and is still working) . I mean what kind of parts do they give in warranty? Ones dat dont even last a month?
Finally I wud say those who hav recently bought dis product to please wait for a few months before writng a positive review. Coz not only is d product of inferior quality but also the service is worst I’ve seen with any company anywhere in India ( mind u I’ve bin all over India) .
