Pulsar 135. My review, your decision !

I am writing my 3rd review about my Baby Pulsar. Hope this one proves to be as useful as the last two J I recently celebrated my Baby Pulsars 1st Birthday who has already completed more that 12, 000 kms!

So being a proud owner of this Darling who gives me more than 70km/ltr Mileage, I hereby hope my review will be useful for you, while buying your vehicle.

·        My Usage:** Apart from using my bike for commuting to & from office, I indulge in extensive Road trips, especially on weekends. Pune had some really awesome picnic places in its vicinity.

I have also traveled from Pune to Jalgaon, around 400km, in one day. On another crazy adventure, I did Pune – Shirdi & back, around 200 km, on same day.

·        Overall== Bike Review:==

  1. Engine: An Engine plays a vital role for any bike, so my sincere advice to all aspiring bike owners is to focus on that instead of flashy looks that can be misguiding. The 4 Valves engine of the pulsar makes a huge difference in enhancing its Mileage & Speed. Unfortunately you cannot expect butter smooth engines (like Honda / Yamaha) from Bajaj. It’s a lot noisier on higher speeds. On my road trip to Jalgaon, My bike gave me a lot of trouble with pick up. And for the last 100 kms, the firing sounded like that of the Bajaj Scooter. It was distressing because I have traveled more than 500 km in a single day on my old Bike, the TVS Suzuki, without any hiccups.

MARKS: 6 / 10

  1. Looks : P 135 has the Good old Macho Aggressive looks.

MARKS: 8.5 / 10

  1. Comfort : You have to bend a little forward while driving the bike, so you may have a back pain for long journeys. Shock Absorbers are not much of a use, Bajaj needs to work on those asap! Also the Rear seat is hard like stone, so your girlfriend will be needed to be treated to a spa once in a while J

MARKS: 4 / 10

  1. Mileage: As Pulsar comes with a 4 valve engine. 4 Valve engine is an engine with 4 valves, two valves for fuel & two for air. Generally bikes have 2 valves. 4 valves make for better fuel air combustion, resulting in better mileage & speed. Imagine of a man with two noses J
