I have done 7500 kms on my yr old pulsar 135 and am happy with its performance. It is a great commuter bike for a crowded city like Mumbai. It has a 135 cc engune with high torque which makes overtaking easier. However it is NOT a touring bike as the seating position gets uncomfortable on long drives.
PROS
maneuverability- taking corner turns is a piece of cake.
Powerful engine- even with a pillion rider the bike is quick.
Good Mileage- 56kmpl in the city.
Reasonably Priced.
CONS
Poor suspension- you can feel the potholes.
Gear problems- Gear shifting(1st to 2nd) is not smooth and is perhaps its biggest drawback.
Engine Vibration- you can feel the engine vibrations once bike crosses speed of 70kms.
Not suitable for tall people.
