I bought this Bajaj Pulsar 150 DTSi about 5year. Its powerful 150 dtsi engine gives amazing power and milage.It has twin Spark Ingnition, Dual start mode i.e, electric and kick, dual Nitrox suspension Exhaust tec system which makes this best than apache 180, When you start the engine it feels like beast is ready to go and does pretty well to reach 100km/hr in almost 12sec.
Other advantages of this bike is one could start and run at 5th gear and can be shifted to 2nd to take ride, its picked up at 2nd gear. Driving in this last gear not only ensures feel good factor but also gives a great mileage of 55km. Only care we should take is not to put water on fuel filter during washing.
Since then its power and pick up has gone up, the only thing you take care is start the engine at idle mode for less than 2 minutes which makes it heated up in winters and ensures good fuel supply to ignition chamber of dtsi engine. When you ride at 90 -110km/hr , you feel less vibration because of its nice handling and nitrox suspension. I ensure I get service done after every 2500 km, which translates to maintenance cost of Rs. 1000/year. The only disadvantage is milage and gripping issues in sandy mud.
