I am writing this second review after 4 years of usage of this bike.I am still satisfied with its performance. I completed 30000 km on this bike. It still has good pick up Maintenance - It hardly required me to change oil during servicing. 2 times clutch wire was changed, front Tyre was changed. Battery was replaced 3 months back.
Apart from this hardly any other cost I had to spend.Bike still runs in good condition. Pick up is still good. It still gives me 45- 50 km/ L.One problem I face is the front disk brake makes big noise when used. I changed the liners during the servicing. But the problem persisted. But I am preferring to use the hind foot brake, as on turns front brake if applied it skids.
One more problem which Bajaj has corrected is my pulsar has all five gears in down positions with neutral in the top most position. which is present in racer bikes only. But I have seen new pulsars which which have 1 up and 4 down gears.which is standard in city conditions. This is essential in emergency conditions when bike is in slow or static conditions when immediate acceleration is required. But I am used to the older positions of the gears.
I still like the dial speedometers and the tachometers which were in the older bikes. The newer bikes have the electronic display. Its steady I had a minor fall 2 times but nothing went wrong with the bike
