Yes, Pulsars do have gear slippage problems, that can be rectified by using better quality oil. Usually when the bikes engine oil starts losing its properties the gear shifts become hard and gear starts to slip, thats an indicator telling you its time to change the oil. Gearslipping is a condition in which, when you perform a proper upshift, the gear engages and picks speed as it should do, but after a split second the gear automaticallyslips back to the previous cog, thus causing a jerk and rpm spike, this can be very dangerous especially hen your building up through revs and gears in a fast pace. new pulsar 150 comes with tubeless tyres, it is refined, has good pickup, and great room for pillion with a nice and long seat. if you check online, every bike model in our market has complaints, so it is all about maintaining the bike well.Actually it is a nice bike to have on road and give it a go.I can see oil drops on the frame and on the ground just below the gearbox. This leakage is not actually from the gearbox but from the Neutral Switch and is caused by an inappropriate sized small round rubber sealing. In case your bike suffers from this leakage, all you need to do is take the stock small rubber ring out from the neutral ring and install a fatter appropriate sized one(available with Bajaj now). In case you are visiting the authorized service center, do not settle for sealants, tapes, coverings which generally are the solutions which they provide.Minimum 45 kmpl never got tired of it.i have heard about a kit called HHO kit. it had been tried by some and got success it seems as mentioned in an article. it is said that by installing that kit which is about 3000/- the mileage of the bike increases about 30-40% i.e if your bike is giving u now about say 45 then after successfully installed ur bike may return about 65 kmpl.Go for it for best mileage, style, performance, maintenance and comfort too.my pulsar giving 60-70 kmpl. the reason behind the mileage is 1.50-60 km/hr in gradual speed increase 2. tyre pressure level front 25 & back 30 3. using clutch & brake when needed. 4.increase & decrease the gears in gradual & smooth. 5. use high end oil like volvoline so that u can drive upto 4000-4500 km & also having good perfomance. 6. maximum ride in solo. 7. chain lubrication & its correct in tight. Gives the proper comfort to the rider for the long journey. It gives the best style to view by the users.what you could do is offer weekly or biweekly automotive news basically.
