Waste of Money, Poor Engine, Poor Performance

Bajaj Pulsar 180 is very famous on Indian roads and loved by millions but my personal experience with the bike is very poor. I purchased Red-Black color combination bike in 2015 from Bagga Link, Karol Bagh, Delhi. Everything is fine for first 4~5 months and after that I experienced technical issues like poor performance, poor mileage, worse engine sound, irritating sounds start coming from chain due to malfunctioning of timing chain which is very common Pulsar bike’s problem. I reported all issues to bajaj service engineer but he told me that these are common issues and company is not doing anything and we can fix them upto the extent possible but cannot eliminate them. So heartbreaking experience it was. In every rainy season, there is a common problem between Pulsars(also acknowledged by Bajaj Service Engineer) that small amount of water enters into the petrol tank and creates issues of missing, starting issues etc.

Customer support of Bajaj is very very poor. Mileage of Bajaj Pulsar 180 is also not very good. My bike was giving mileage of just 42kmpl on highway and 40kmpl on streets. Comfort wise bike is average and not very good not very bad. Road grip is very poor. In rainy reason rear tyre slips even after applying with very low pressure. Engine of Bajaj Pulsar is very poor and sounds like generator after using it for 6~7 months. After loosing all Hope, finally I sold the bike in just 7 months and switched to Yamaha FZ V2.0 I finally sold my bike after using just 07 months and switched to Yamaha FZ V2.0

I will not recommend Bajaj bikes to anyone. Go for Honda, Yamaha or even TVS because they have much better customer support than poor Bajaj.
