Problem with Pulsars and may be with other brands

I own a Pulsar 1800cc UG3 from past more than 2 and a half years and I am totally satisfied with the performance of my bike. its giving me constant mileage from past two and a half years.(40 - 50).

What I love in Pulsar are:

1) The buttons- Smoothest and sexiest as compared to any Indian bike. The feel of its buttons is great

2) DIgital speedometer and the audometer.

3) Auto killing indicators.

4) Side stand indicator(Best- Open Side stand can led to an accident anytime)

5) Fuel Meter. It never shows wrong reading.

6) Rev and reserve fuel(If petrol is very less) indicator.

7) Very stylish Fuel Tank Opening.

8) Very efficient breaks.

9) Just required and no extra muscles(Decent looks)

Also dont forget the Looks of the bike.

I want to tell you about a problem which I faced sometimes once or trice in 20-25 days. Even If I have ample petrol in the bike it doesn’t start. Yesterday I faced this problem and fuel meter was showing 4 dots, that means I had around 5 Litre of petrol in it. I tried to start it for 30 mins but of no use. Luckily there was a garage just 50 Metres apart.

I went there. Mechanic opened my fuel pipe and said that there is no fuel inside. I told him that I have a lot of petrol taht I can ride for hours in Pune. He opened my fuel cap and blown the air into the two small holes which are inside(they are visible). These holes are actually for the water to rinse in rains(Water goes inside).

Then he kept the fuel lid open for around 1 min and closed it and started. My monster got started in first try. He didn’t even charged me anything and gave below precious knowledge.

Now what I want to tell you all guyz is:

1) Remove fuel pipe and start the petrol(Just for fraction of second).

2) If you face this problem then open the fuel lid for around 1 mins and then close again.

3) Make sure that you clean the 2 tini holes inside your fual tank regularly to avoid this problem.

4) Your bike is ready to get started.
