I have recently purchased Bajaj Pulsar 180 DTSI on 09/11/07 on occasion of Diwali. I found the vehicle excellent in terms of Power, pickup styling and riding comfort and fell in love with this motorcycle. I nick named it Black Beauty.
I have just crossed 100Kms running and was surprised to see today morning (15/11/07) that the black color coating over Piston Block has started coming off. The disc brake started rusting.
I am now concerned about the quality of paint being used.
I didn’t came across any gear shifting problems as indicated by various people in this forum and I feel that the same is now resolved.
I have approached the dealer and the dealer was kind enough to offer me replacement with new bike of Free of cost basis. Also he added that if I am not happy with the product then he will return the money back to me (as registration was yet to be done).
Now I am planning to take my money back and go for Honda Unicorn which I feel should be serious enough in quality considering the brand image they have.
I would request you all to have a through check before you invest your money in to this.
