P200 : The best pulsar yet?

The Pulsar 200. I will be short here, to the point. The P200, to me, feels as the best Pulsar yet (Im not taking the p220into account as it still hasnt gone on country wide sale yet).

Yes, it is not for those looking at fuel efficiency but for those wishing to upgrade from the 150cc segment. it has more than enough power for daily use as well as highway use. adding to the highway part, it is a great tourer too, at 95-100 on the speedo, the bike feels smooth and stable.

for city riding, one thing that bothered me was the slightly heavy feel of the handing. May be its due to the low handlebar and the wider (than p150/p180) front tyre. In normal usage, the bike should give 42-45kmpl in city riding with ease.

Looks are a great positive part, the wide (90 front and 120 rear) tryes, tank scoop, LEDs etc, all lend their part to make the bike stand out.

There were some quality issues , with reports of barrel breaking (the fork barrel) but Bajaj acted up fast and have replaced the faulty part on many bikes.

If you are looking at more power than the pulsar 180 and dont wish to spend high on the karizma, the pulsar 200 is no doubt the bike to go for.
