The Pulsar 200NS is quite simply the Best Sports Bike in India.
Power - This model is a quantum leap over what Bajaj has made so far. The engine is based on the KTM 200Duke and it shows in its performance. The engine puts out blistering performance of 23.5 Ps power.
Unlike older Pulsars this 200 cc, liquid cooled engine loves to be revved to its redline. Its 4 valve per cylinder layout makes the engine relaxed at high revs.
Handling - The frame(perimeter) on the Pulsar 200NS is what can be seem on international race bikes and moto GP bikes. Even the Yamaha R15 has this frame. This frame is the reason for the Pulsar 200NS handing like a dream and staying rock solid around high speed corners and on open stretches of highways.
Brakes - The brakes are awesome and provide good bite to stop this bike. Top speed seen by me on this bike is 148 kmph on the speedometer.
Comfort - The bike is pretty comfortable with wide supportive seats and good riding stance. The suspension is slightly firm though
Negatives - The only negatives would be the stock tyres that comes on this bike. The stock tyres are ok in the dry and when new but its advisable to replace the stock tyres with some better branded tyres like MRF, Pirelli, Michellin etc.
Seat Height - Also I wish the seat height was a bit lower. For tall guys(5ft 8 inch upwards) it would not be an issue, but for shorter guys the seat height is a bit tall.
Fuel Effiuciency - I get around 35-37 kmpl. that is pretty ok considering the performance of this Naked Rocket
WARNING: The Pulsar 200NS is a performance bike. Commuters who just want to commute better stick to 100-150 cc bikes.
