Muscular Beast with 200 CC

Hello everyone, this is my first time writing a review, so it might seem a bit sluggish.

Now lets get straight to the point. I have owned a blue Pulsar 200NS for over a year and have safely ride it to 10100 kms mark.

So the following review is based on my personal experience.

For those who are thinking of buying this bike I strongly suggest you do so. Well to be honest unlike all I was not a fan of the Pulsar series, mainly because of the looks.(I might be a bit skeptical here).

But when I saw the ad of Pulsar 200NS, I decided to go have a look and then of course I bought it.

Now here are pros and cons of the bike:(My views)

Pros-

1) The muscular look of the bike and specially the headlamp are best Bajaj could have done.(I personally give them 10/10 for this).

2) The power delivered by the engine is so smooth that you just love riding the bike that to without any hiccups.

3) The acceleration of bike is great.0-60 kmph is  no time at all.(well that’s how I feel).

4) Mileage - well ain’t that something everyone wants to know. Over the past 1 year I have calculated the mileage on many occasions(just to be sure) and I can proudly say it averages out to a 42 km/l that to in the city. Ofcourse I haven’t been to a long drive, so I can’t tell you about the highway mileage.

5) Handling - Now the handling of the bike is great, I have personally drove the bike upto speed of 113 kmph and can personally guarantee you that it didn’t at any point felt like bike was out of my control. You can also lean the bike upto a certain angle at turns and you won’t feel the bike skidding.

6) Braking - Well who doesn’t want a bike that won’t just topple over or skid when the brakes are suddenly applied. Now this is what happened to me.(Please do not try this at all). I was driving at a speed of  90 kmph and suddenly I had to apply both the brakes and that to hard, and to my astonishment my bike came to a complete halt at about 10ft or so, and the best thing that happened was that even though because of hard breaking the rear tyre got locked my bike didn’t just skidded or slipped, it maintained a straight line which allowed me be in control.

7) Seating is good but the seats could have been a bit more comfortable.

Now cons -

Although I love my bike there are still somethings that could have been better.

1) The handle bars are bit too rough on the hands even for a continuous ride of around 30 kms, so if you ride more than that you better get yourself some cushions for the handles.

2) The tires provided by Bajaj are good but they tend to skid if bent more than a particular angle. I am saying this because I have drove FZS and I felt if the tyres were more that of FZS type it would have provided a better grip at turns.

SO all said I still love my blue Bajaj Pulsar 200NS and am very proud of it.

Hope my review helped you in some way. If you have some questions please leave a comment and I’ll be happy to answer it.
