I own a 200 ns and after careful thought have come about to write this review.
I am a 23 year old speed freak who likes to go on long bike rides.
Im from Bangalore, and have done a few trips on this bike to places in and around.
Fuel Consumption/Mileage - The company says that the mileage on city roads is 35, Im getting about 30 because Im a bit of a speed demon. On the highway I get about 50, but that all depends on how often I rip on the open stretches. (satisfied)
Stability/Handling/Control - The bike is stable only up to the speeds of 140 kmph, I have touched 161 km/ph on Bangalore to Krishnagiri highway the bike wabbles too much!! Almost let my back tire skid too!! (utter bullshit from Bajaj, if you make a bike that goes fast then learn to make it stable!!)
Looks/Design - I wont complain about it cause I understand that the front is shaped to allow better air passage and smoother aerodynamics, but Im planning to remove the wing-clips attached to the tank to make it look like a proper naked bike. (satisfied)
Comfort - The seating makes it a bit uncomfortable to ride more than 2 hours at a stretch. I though that maybe its cause of the position changes on the highway, but while on the Chennai highway I realized that it was the position cause the roads were too smooth. Im going to change the handle bar pieces to a pair thats a bit closed but longer so that I dont have to bend my back too much and the handles dont touch the tank. (not happy)
Reliability - The reliability of this bike is excellent!! While on long rides, even CBR 250s get overheated and stop, but my bike kept going while I held the throttle at 140kmph for almost an hour continuously. (very happy)
Top Speed - Ive hit a top of 161 km/ph on the 200 ns :) but my friend has been able to hit only 145 on his, maybe he hasnt maintained it well during the run in period.
Dukes have better initial pick up, but my bike has caught up with them over a distance of 700 meters on open roads, thanks to the high speed.
