It is what I feel after going through the road test of New Pulsar 220 DTSi at Zigwheels.com

Top speed-138.5 kmph
Fuel efficiency-44 kmpl overall
These are few of the performance figures quoted by Zigwheels.com(Time of india automobilr magazine) for the new Pulsar 220 DTSi launched today.
Mind blowing for a Indian bike.That too on ex showroom price of 70, 000(Delhi), turns to be near 77000 on road.
Oh my goodness.Bajaj just gives too much bang for one’s bucks.I was expecting this bike to be tad expensive.But with such pricing it is a born winner.To hell with 75000 priced Jap machines(one I already own) which don’t like to go beyond 80.
Seems that Japs still don’t want to give better bikes to us.Bajaj’s investment in R&D really is a boon for them and for common people like us who want power at comfortable prices.
Bajaj really rocks in this regard.
I am sure to go for this one!
