Tragedy struck

Iam Robert new to MS. I have seen so many reviews about pulsar 220. actually Is it reflect the true nature of pulsar 220 dtsi. I will say absolutely no because I own a pulsar 220.

Iam  a mechanical engineer working in a leading manufacturing company. I decided to buy a bike when I got the first salary. That decision have taken my way to the most powerful bike the pulsar 220. I test drove it  and I liked it . its so powerful compared to others. I ordered the bike immediately, loved it  most reasonable price compared to others.

When I first handed my bike the mirror got loosened that I tightened immediately at  the service centre. I ignored others talking about the reliability concept. Any way I thought pulsar Is most reliable compared to others. Ok .

Clocked five thousand kilometers. The tragedy really happened when I was at a speed of 60 kmp hr the chain got loosened and I suddenly applied the brakes, oh thanks,  to the front disc it worked effectively. I immediately approached the service engineer and they said it s a normal phenomena no need to worry abt the condition of the bike. They tightened it. Then it ran smoothly, afterwards I was not able to put 2 gear at a speed of 20 kmp hr. I thought it  may be knocking but actually it doesn’t,   anyway no bike will  knock at a speed of 20 kmhr in 2gear. Another problem with gear is neutal always stikes, the loosening of chain causing so many noise.

I complained to the service engineer. And they began inspecting my bike . they said it have a problem with the gear box. I stunned to hear this may be they r fooling me . clocked just 5000kms having problem with gearbox I cant believe. Upto this time I spend nearly 2000rs for the defects caused by the factory.

And I cant do anything with the gear box therefore I mailed a complaint to the area manager of bajaj. They simply say they will consider u r complaint. Iam tired of hearing this. M y bike is going to be in bad state afterwards gears r not properly shifting it strucks during gear downshifting having problem with clutches. At last I felt tired. Now my 2 month old pulsar 220dtsi is for sale. I feel I will get a minimum of rs50000. lots of expectation finally back to a big zero.

I feel deeply sad in exchanging my 1990 model Yamaha rx 100 with pulsar 220 dtsi . during my 10 years of biking I have never felt a single trouble with my Yamaha. But I failed to understand what rx means….

Feel deep regret in selling this bike.
