My name is Dr. Dilshan and I am currently doing my residentship.I intend to write a review on my new proud possesion.
I bought this powerful bike some 2 months ago after taking feedbacks from friends and reading stuff from net, mouthshut included.
The took test rides, twice at dealer end and thrice from a friend.
Once you have started the bike and given right hand a twist, it marches ahead like a tiger.It gives a great feel.
After all these tests, i was sure to buy this bike.
Now it has been 2 months of ownership, and I would like to write what I felt with this beast.
The engine is very smooth, powerful and torquey.21 Ps of power is something.
I took my bike on ride of 680 kms too and fro.The engine stood refined all over the journey, without even a hitch.Every time I was tempted to take it beyond 100 kmph, but I controlled myself and kept it within running in limits.
Gearbox and clutch are very good and sleek, and are a class apart.I just enjoy the feel of gear.
Mileage till now what I feel is,
40 kmpl in city ride
52 kmpl on highways
Looks wise it has one of best in class looks and appeal.The whole black treatment has made it appear very macho .
Projector headlights give it one of the best night touring ability.I had heard that bajaj bikes have best headlights, now with this bike I am truly impressed with the power of headlights.I am really njoying touring in night with much confidence.
The riding position is very comfortable and on long rides, it supports your back vey well.This bike has become a Tourer’s delight all the way.Be it night or day.
Last but not the least the soft compound tyres show their worth when it rains or you take a sudden brake.Bike maintains its balance in all cases and cornering is dream.
Regarding cons, luckily for me they are still to come.Will report any if comes.
So, finally my recommendation is "go for it".
Not for the value for money thing, that it surely has got.But for the fun that it provides.
