Value for money ????

Pulsar AS150, the affordable Adventure Sport bike looks slightly different from the larger 200 AS. Based on the 150 NS, the bike will compete against the likes of Yamaha Fazer, Suzuki Gixxer SF, and others in the league. With the growing popularity of 150cc segment, we believe that the 150AS could be a big hit in the country.

Design

Unlike the larger 200AS, the 150cc Adventure Sport features slimmer tyres, drum type rear brakes, and it misses out on a radiator ahead of an engine bay. It comes with a neatly styled quarter fairing that extends smartly back into a clear visor for improved wind protection. Upfront is new projector lamp-powered headlamps, slim-spoke Pulsar typical-wheels, and alloy wheels with disc brakes. Also on offer are pillion and rider footrests, backlit switches and split seat. All the essential features like digital instrument cluster, fuel tank, etc are shared with the 150NS. The bike rides on the 17-inch alloys.

Engine & Transmission

The Pulsar 150AS is powered by a 149.5cc single-cylinder petrol engine with Bajaj’s triple spark ignition technology. This engine is capable of producing 17PS of power at 9000rpm and 13Nm of torque at 7500rpm. It is coupled to a five-speed gearbox, with shifting in the one-down, four-up pattern.

Fuel Tank Capacity – 12 litres

Mileage – 55-60kmpl

Price – Rs. 79, 000
