I bought Bajaj Pulsar 150cc 3 years ago. Actually I got attracted by it’s looks and power when it launched in the market. You can call it love at first site. But when I drove it first time, I said...If I am going to buy a bike, that will be Pulsar only and now I can claim that my decision was not a blind love.
Today, after three years of using the PULSAR 150cc, I will say, I am totally happy with my bike. I remember hardly spending money on Pulsar 150cc other than routine servicing. Its wonderful, fabulous, excellent, extraordinary experience to have and ride a PULSAR.
It gives you total driving comfort (for pillion too), stability and total control over the acceleration and breaking along with tremendous balance and road grip. I have driven it on all kind of roads on extreme speeds also. But never found anything negative about it. So no dislikes... Additionally it has great suspension and vertical stability. Other features to highlight are Powerful headlight, very accessible pass button typically very useful on highways, slick indicators and amazingly usable electrical controls with a good powerful horn. . Pulsar has 18 liters fuel tank with 3 liters reserve and approximate 1.5-liter dead stock so no worries in long runs.
The Electric start, till date, I have never faced a problem with electric start and battery.
I have two pulsar 150s in my family, my elder brother too have the same and I have same experiences with both bikes. In my friend circle also, when they took the drive on my bike, they slowly shifted to PULSAR 150 from their existing bikes.
Overall, bike is very sturdy, excellent in performance, low maintainance.
Who should buy? - People who love biking and they don’t want any compromises in their regular transportation should buy this bike, because it has good performance on highway as well as on city roads. My bike is consistently giving me mileage in the range of 50 to 55 along with lots of positive points mentioned earlier.
Who shouldn’t buy? - People, who are totally economy (mileage) minded should not buy this vehicle, because those people are ready to compromise on sitting, driving, stability everything to achieve the mileage and those people will never understand what’s in PULSAR. Additionally, People who do not have brains how to ride a four stroke engines should remain at least few kilometers away from buying PULSAR.
PULSAR IS TRUE VALUE FOR YOUR MONEY AND DESIRES.
