The dream machine

The dream machine that is what I would call my new pulsar180dtsi. It is a perfect blend of style and performance. The six spoke alloy wheels add to the beauty. As I am still in the running in period I could not rev him up. This is the period which decides the future of a vehicle, so one must be careful in handling the vehicle properly. I have not taken him above 55kmph and keep the rpm under 5000. Currently he is returning me 45kms per litre in city. I am satisfied with this as my previous bike (1998 bullet STD) gave me only 26kms per litre. I have not encountered any problems so far and the riding pleasure he gives me is a memorable one. According to me the new dtsi engine is the smoothest available in the country compared to other bikes. The new pulsar has a 180cc powerhouse which delivers 16.5bhp of power. This is 4bhp more than the cbz which is currently disappearing from the roads. This is because HH launched the star version which has ugly looks and less powerful engine than the older one. This is the reason why I skipped my option of the cbz and jumped to the pulsar. The 150cc version of pulsar did not catch my mind as the power it delivered was low (13.5bhp). I wanted a bike which would stand out from the others, both in style and power and hence opted the 180cc. For those of you who wish to burn rubber the 180cc is the right choice. The new exhaust Tec system has increased the torque to a tremendous amount. Bcoz of this a full gush of power is available with a simple twist of the throttle which pushes the enormous machine forward. As far as my knowledge this is the perfect bike for wheeling (front & back). This is bcoz the front forks thickness has been increased and the gas filled shocks at the rear provide a smooth landing. The horn is also really cool. It takes a little effort to tame the machine for a first few days.
